I have an old ARM Chromebook too, but only 16 GiB
hard disk. I'm looking for a source of new computers.

Actually - thanks for that idea!

My situation has changed, so I may well be able to
use a Mac laptop.

In fact, that's exactly the situation I was in in
the 1980s. I thought the Amiga was technically
superior to the PC, and that if only PC programmers
wrote their code in standard C, we could switch
over to the Amiga.

Now it is Windows software that can be written in
C90 and recompiled for the Mac as a PDOS-generic
app, running in what looks like an MSDOS prompt.

Sounds like my new calling in life.

BFN. Paul.
