Which driver? The Windows one or the alfa(beta) from Linux ?

If I have on mind the from Windows, it is not suprise because it lacks the user rights managment. So Microsoft will not enable to format hard drives to exFAT because he tries to focus on user rights, safety, etc.
But it is not a technical limitation but the "company politics".

BTW:
If I could decide whether in the FreeDOS kernel should be implemented the support of exFAT or NTFS I would choose exFAT due its simplicity, no advanced user rights ans smaller memory footprint.
