Aztec and Lattice were popular in Amiga circles, maybe Apple (i.e, they were available for Apple, but I don't know how popular they were). I can't recall seeing any DOS PC progs written in them - like DeSmet, they got wiped out early on by Turbo C for DOS, and by the end of the Amiga and Apple II.

It was bought by SAS (the software company, not the airline).
