The most famous limits are limits of M$, not limits of FAT. Anyway, I'm developing an idea of a new filesystem removing the FAT weaknesses:

- LFN support but with rules and without hacks
- Volumes 4 KiB...4 PiB with no need of 12/16/32/64 subversions
- No "journalism"
- No 4 GiB file size limit
